Hello. 2002 Hyundai Sante Fe,production date 01/15/02. Need some help on installing exterior passenger side non heated mirror that was jacked.Thanks very much for any assistance offered.

    I've never worked on one of these, but I can give some tips.  Check to see if the thief cut or simply unplugged the wire for the motors in the mirror.  If he cut them, you will want to buy a new harness as well as the mirror.  If you are getting a mirror from the salvage yard, make them cut off the harness and give it to you, then splice it to the old one.  Usually these mirrors are held on by two or three screws which are accessed by lifting the small black piece of trim on the door at the point where the window frame meets the body of the door.  they are almost always held on with Torx screws, so you will need the appropriate sized Torx tool to undo them.  the rest should be simple common sense.
