Auto Parts: k&n filters, david drinkwater, k n filters

Dear Compstall:
Am wondering if installing a new K&N filter on my 2008
Yaris would be a good idea.  I read they last 50,000 miles
and are reusable when cleaned and re-oiled with the kit
they sell.  They cost about $43.00 on the internet for my
car.  But just a regular one at Napa cost about 20 bucks.  
It would appear more cost effective to buy the Premium
filter by K&N.  Please share your opinion with me.

Personally, I am a fan of K&N filters.  I have them in all 5 of my vehicles, and have always bought them for my vehicles for the last 17 years with no problems.  The biggest reason I buy them is like you said - you'll never buy another one.  

K&N warranties their filters for 1,000,000 miles.
