Auto Parts: neon tranny, dodge neon sport, dodge neon

I have a 1998 dodge neon sport. Ive been having some issues with the tranny and am thinking about putting a new one in. (I run it pretty hard....)I was wondering if there is any difference between this trans and the one in the r/t. Or, would it be better to use a differnt trans all together because chrystler/dodge is known for there crappy transmissions. Suggestions? This is a car that I plan to "build up"

I know there's a Neon / R/T forum on the internet, I just can't think of the name right now.  Try googling that.  You may find your answer and know if the trans in an R/T is any stronger or not.  

Check yourself and see if this is TRULY a car you want to build up.  It could get really expensive if you really want to go fast, or you could end up with a half-built car down the road that you ultimately wasted money on.
