Auto Parts: 1998 Hyundai Excel GX Twin Cam problem, crank angle sensor, electrical gremlins

Question
Hi. My excel has a stalling issue that apparantly can't be fixed...it has been in at the auto electricians for over 3 weeks and they can't find the problem.  It started very rarely stalling when it was idling or driving at a slow speed.  It has become more frequent (daily) and after it has stalled, will not start again for at least an hour (sometimes alot longer)  I did some research and figured from other people that it was the crank angle sensor so i got them to replace it.  Cost me $400, thought the problem was fixed because it ran great for 3 days.  Then started stalling again.  There are no error codes.  They tested the fuel pressure etc.  The fuel relay was replaced.  They said they have tested everything else but because no error codes come up on the diagnostics, they can't fix it?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

Answer
Lee-anne,

Sometimes electrical gremlins can be extremely difficult to diagnose.  Under certain circumstances, some components will work fine until they're good and heat-soaked by the engine - THEN they rear their ugly heads.  Unfortunately, since I am not there to physically take a look at your vehicle, there isn't much I can do from this keyboard....  :(
