Hi There, Not sure if you know much about these cars, but I got a quote to replace my ABS module for $1750(AUD) from Hyundai. That sounds very expensive, & wanted to know if that sounds right to you or should I get the part myself. Don't want to be ripped off, appreciate any advice you can give...thanks

ABS parts can be very expensive.  Being in the USA, we didn't get the Tiburon until 2003.  I did the best I could to find the part you're looking for, but online parts sites did not list an aftermarket ABS unit for your vehicle.  Some parts do indeed need to come from the manufacturer unfortunately if there is no aftermarket support.

If I was in your shoes, I'd take a look in some local junk yards for a cheaper price.
