Auto Parts: dash lights are out, dash lights, climate control

My 2001 Outback Lx wagon's dash lights went out suddenly last night.  I pulled the fuse, looked fine, but replaced it anyway.  didn't work.  any suggestions?

Hi Mike,

Is it just the dash lights or are other lights out also? Are the lights for the climate control and radio still working? How about the park lamps outside of the vehicle?
