Auto Parts: 1980 Turbo Trans AM, dana corp, pickup coil

Question
I own a 1980 Pontiac Turbo Trans AM. I have no spark. If I jumper out the pickup coil back to the distributor it starts. The manual says to not run the car with the jumper. Only test by starting. The manual says I need to replace the ECM module. It think it is a spark regualtor. It is located in the passenger compartment under the radio. Easily accessable from the drive side. The car Vin code is 2W871TAN132443. It is a yellow box made by the Dana Corp. Toledo Ohio. It has a sticker on it stating  "Use only yellow regulator to replace yellow regulator Use yellow or black regulator to replace black regulator Regulator adjustment may be necessary". It has three holes for adjustments. Labeled "Low Speed SW ADJ." "Centering ADJ" "Sensitivity ADJ." The only numbers are "3-R" directly under is "0061B45-E". It has a 14 wire flat edge circuit connection to the wiring harness.

Any help will be appreciated. It is a nice looking car that I cannot run. I am the original owner. If you cannot help can you suggest where to go.
Thanks much

Answer
You own a truly rare car, and I happen to have a soft spot for F-bodies, but unfortunately you own one that I don't have much information on.  :(

I searched "1980 Turbo Trans Am" in Google, and came up with tons of sites.  I'm sure if you browsed through there you'd find some people to talk with.

Here's a couple helpful sites I found:
