Dodge Repair: 1992 dodge van 3.3l tansmission, dodge van, computor

i have a 92 caravan on which the transmission went and was told it needed rebuilt,3rd time around. i found a used transmission that came out of a 1990 caravan which was rebuilt, i bought the whole van since i thought i could use parts off it. i know the tranny worked ok because i drove it home, but now since i put it in my van, it's doing the same thing(limp mode).could it be that the computer needed to be changed? the only problem is that my van is not fully loaded but the other one is

Could be the computer needs to be changed. The transmission is the same in both vans.  the best thing to do would be to have the computer codes read for you. this would explain what the computor is seeing wrong and why its going into limp mode.  although this would cost a little money since most times you have to go back to the dealership to have this done.It could be as simple as a bad conection at one of the sensors.
