Auto Parts: enquiry about Van Ford E 350, electricity generator, conversion equipment

Question
Hi,
I have baught a Ford E-Series Van EXTENDED XL ,2000 and I donot have the user guide, the van is fully equipped with a kitchen, an electricity generator, and a gas cylinder .I would like to know how to operate such accessories safely  or to get an access to a reference that can guide me.To notice is that I found the mark of www.Quigley4X4.com and could not get any information from this site.
thanks for help.

Answer
Hi Abdul,

Unfortunately the only thing I can help you with is to tell you you need to contact the creator of the conversion on your van. Ford user manuals will not have the conversion accessories listed. On the drivers door jamb there should be a plate or a tag telling you where the conversion was done and they are who you would need to contact for a user guide pertaining to the conversion equipment.

Looking for a reputable service technician? My advice on finding a good technician is: Steer clear of the dealership and 'chain' stores like Firestone, Sears, Pep Boys, Monro Muffler/Brake, Midas, etc. as they usually only employ ONE ASE Certified Tech just so they can say they do and chances are, that guy is the asst. manager or manager and is not in the store to diagnose/repair vehicles anyway. Find a service location in the link below or get some names out of the yellow-pages and do a drive-by. Garages that employ ASE Certified Technicians will be marked with the 'Blue-Seal' insignia. If unsure about whether a place employs Certified Techs, just ask to see their credentials. ALL ASE Certified Technicians will be PROUD to show and display their certificate(s).

Thanks for the question, I hope this information was helpful to you.
