I just bought the truck and the trans has puked its guts out.  I cannot find a used replacement locally and want to know if there is another trans that will fit.  The truck is a 99 dakota 3.9 v6 4x4 extended cab

Sorry dude but the 3.9L makes it a one-year, one-vehicle only trans. Call 877-453-0909 and ask for Daryl, I'll bet he can get one of these transmissions to your door for a great price.
