Auto Parts: Leveling Kits for 02 Ram 1500, dodge ram 1500, coil spacers

Question
Hello,

I just recently purchased a Daystar Comfort Ride Lift Kit for my 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 on autoanything.com and I was wondering if there is a mechanic or service station that might be able to install the kit on my truck for me.
I could install it myself but Id rather let professionals do it right since they know what they're doing. The kit includes two front coil spacers that slip in between the front coils. Do you know of any place near Carrollton, or Dallas, Tx that might be able to install this kit for a reasonable price or a book/magazine I can buy to instruct me on how to self-install it on my truck?

Answer
Hi David,

How many names do you have? Lol

Try PowerBlockTv. There are 1/2 hour shows on, usually on Saturday afternoons that I catch once-in-a-while and I do believe I saw them installing one of those kits. Search around through their website as there may be better info than you will get with your question here.

Looking for a reputable service technician? My advice on finding a good technician is: Steer clear of the dealership and 'chain' stores like Firestone, Sears, Pep Boys, Monro Muffler/Brake, Midas, etc. as they usually only employ ONE ASE Certified Tech just so they can say they do and chances are, that guy is the asst. manager or manager and is not in the store to diagnose/repair vehicles anyway. Find a service location in the link below or get some names out of the yellow-pages and do a drive-by. Garages that employ ASE Certified Technicians will be marked with the 'Blue-Seal' insignia. If unsure about whether a place employs Certified Techs, just ask to see their credentials. ALL ASE Certified Technicians will be PROUD to show and display their certificate(s).

Thanks for the question, I hope this information was helpful to you.
