Auto Parts: Throttle cable, chevy silverado, throttle cable

I broke the throttle cable on my 1983 Chevy Silverado C-10.  I cannot find the part number to replace it with the correct part.  Can I search by VIN? Please advise.

Hi Jena,

That's no easy task breaking a throttle cable. Unfortunately I do not know where you would obtain part numbers for a replacement but we do from time to time sell these types of items. Call the number listed below and ask for Leo. Make sure to tell him Fred sent you otherwise he'll tell you we do not sell non-interchange parts.
