Auto Parts: 2001 Volvo S40 Dashboard backgorund light illumination, tiny bulbs, 2001 volvo s40

QUESTION: Dear Sir,
I've a Volvo S40 2001 1.9T. Had to replace dashboard background lights bulb and as well the Auto Shift position background illumination. I took out the bulbs and try to find it at Volvo Dealer in NYC, but I was surprised that they don't sell the bulbs it self. To get those bulbs I've to buy the whole control panel lights (located on the left hand side of the driver seat) and as well on the auto shift lever (drive position indicator) I 've to buy the whole set. I mean to change a 3 small tiny bulbs on the Head Light Control Panel will cost me $150.00+ and the single bulb on the auto shift lever another $30.00+. Unfortunately on those bulbs no reference # whatsoever about. Can you help me with any clue, where can I find those lamps for replacements without to buy the whole panel etc etc

ANSWER: Hi Carlos,

If you can provide a GOOD detailed photo or two, I'll check my stock here for a damaged cluster and see if there are any bulbs that are good.
