Auto Parts: 94 lincoln towncar trunk latch, lincoln towncar, trunk pull down

'94 lincoln towncar - My trunk pull down motor does not engage when the trunck lid is closed and so my trunk does not latch AT ALL.  How do i know if the motor must be replaced or if it is something else.  The latch release seems to work...

take it to the dealership and have one of them stick it to you and stop wasting your time trying to figure something out that you obviously are clueless about.
