Auto Parts: Access to horn-2008 Dodge Ram 2500 Big Horn diesel 4x4 6.7 liter, dodge ram 2500, 2008 dodge ram 2500

Hi, I'm trying to install an extra horn on my truck. It had been previously installed on my 2002 Ram and 2004 1/2 ram 2500 Diesel. On this new truck I have not been able to get to the wire on the back of the horn because I can't figure out how to get to it. My dealer says the radiator overflow bottle has to be removed, but can not figure out how to remove it. Do you have any idea how to get to that wire. I suppose I could also use the wire at the horn relay or possibly the horn fuse. of course i can't find either one. Thanks.  Bernie

Hi Bernie,

If I weren't planning on re-connecting the factory horn again as long as I owned the vehicle, I'd just cut the wire where you can access it and tuck the remainder somewhere out of the way. Or just splice into it using a one-to-two wire electrical connector.
