Auto Parts: corsa door mirror, mirror glass, thriftiness

hi,I have a 2005 corsa and have recently needed to buy an o/s door mirror glass. for all my efforts and much cursing i can't get it to fit.  The replacement is a genuine part. The back of the mirror has what i describe as two metal "springs" it is also electric and heated.i hope you can help.cheers Ian

Hi Ian,

Your thriftiness has gotten you into quite a pickle. This is why we don't sell JUST the glass. It's much simpler to attach three screws and a wire harness and drive down the road. You chose the hard way and the only thing I can help you with is to wish you good luck. Maybe next time spend the few bucks more by buying a complete assembly and save yourself the headaches and cursing. No car company will EVER release repair notes for a mirror glass.
