Auto Parts: breaks, citroen c3, mirror image

my car breaks are squeaking and i think one of them worn out.i would like to know if it could be changed by myself or i need a mechanic and how much would cost.

Front brakes are typically a straight-forward job. Usually basic hand tools will be all you'll need. I don't know what a Citroen c3 2003 is but all disk setups are close in design. Rear disks are alot trickier and require special tools to reset the piston unlike the fronts that will only require a C-clamp or pad spreader to reset the piston in its bore. My advise is to do ONE side at a time that way if you become confused, you'll have a mirror image of the setup on the other side of the car and you'll only need copy the way that one is attached to have both correct.
