Auto Parts: O2 sensors, o2 sensors, oxygen sensor

Question
Hi my name is Nate and I have a 1999 Acura CL 3.0 V6 and I need to replace the oxygen sensor before the catalyst. I am thinking of just replacing it myself because it would cost me about $160 for my mechneic to do it. I found a website called autopartswharehouse.com and found this o2 sensor made by SNG.
   #SN4-160 Oxygen Sensor SNG $61.95
Vehicle:1997 – 1999 Acura CL
Fits Engine – Chassis:3.0L, V6, J30A1 — CL

Description:
DIRECT FIT OXYGEN SENSOR -- OE Type Connector BEFORE Catalyst Free Shipping On Orders Over $50.00

I just want to make sure that this product is a good quality brand and that it is the right size and fit. I wanted a direct fit with the connector so I dont have to splice the wires and i heard they are better.
Also when they say before the catalyst i just wanted to make sure that was the one closer to the hood of the car.
any help would be great. Thanks

Answer
the price sounds ok. i've never heard of the sng brand name, so i don't know anything about them. i would recommend going with either a bosch or an ngk. both of these are oem manufacturers witch tells me they are a little better. i've sold bosch for about 7 years and i don't recall a defective recall except for maybe a miss application where the plug was wrong.
