Auto Parts: changing a turn signal switch, turn signal switch, signal work

Question
Turn signal swt. does not "click" to stay in the right turn position. I have to hold it up in order to make signal work. Left turn works properly. Vehicle is 1993 chev 3500 p/u with cruise, tilt, & delay wipers. How is this part changed so the turn signal swt. will work properly? Please be precise & picturs may help.
Thanks in advance.
Henry.

Answer
You need a new cancel switch. Can be found at any parts store. You'll have to remove the steering wheel. If you need good detailed pictures you need to get a chilton's manual for your truck. You will also need a wheel puller and a column clip removal tool. Both of these can be picked up at the parts store also.
