Car Alarms: Steal Stopper system 70, long term security, hidden switch

Question
I have a problem with my steal stopper 70 car alarm. After a couple of times that my car battery was down my alarm went off and my remotes didn't work. I had to use the hidden switch to stop the alarmsystem..Now  I have placed a new battery in my car but the remotes are still not working. The alarm is still responding on the switch but not on the remotes. Do you know what the problem is ? Please can you help me ?  I'm living in Holland and Steal Stopper is since many many of years nowhere to buy. It's a great alarm and I don't want to lose it.

Answer
The remotes have likely lost programming
and I am sorry but I don't have that information here
to reprogram them. Plus location anything relavent
to this older unit is likely not to be avail.

Your better & less expensive option at this point is to
extract and replace it with a new system
with fresh remotes. Makes for a better long term
security experience.

Just an educated opinion.
Good luck with the hunt.
