Car Alarms: Truck will not start at all times, gm passlock, chevy silverado

Question
I have a 2002 chevy silverado with a prestige platinum model APS-876c model keyless entry and remote start. It has worked great until recently I am experiencing problems with the truck not starting at times. I put the keu into the ignition and turn it to crank and nothing happens and it will not start even with the remote start I am unaware as to what to try to trouble shoot or even begin to look at to start to trouble shoot this problem any help would greatly be appreciated thankyou so much for time and patience in answering my questions.
