i bought a 99 civic the alarm was unplugged. the car wont start, it turns over but doesnt start. how do i remove the alarm system? its a Chapman brand alarm

There another issue.
After market system have a binary starter kill
system. It's a relay that when opened, separates
the starter wie. You would not be able to turn it over at all.
It would simply do nothing at all, or you'd
hear a ticking sound, but no crank at all.

Sure you can remove it, but this is something else.

I suggest an ODB reader & read the vehicle codes.
Sounds like a bad starter.
