Car Alarms: 1998 toyota 4runner car alarm, toyota 4runner, alarm remotes

Question
Bought a used toyota 4runner . It did not come with the alarm remotes. I purchased some offline and tried to install them myself today. It didn't work. I went to the store and came home, turned off my car and now it won't start back , it is only making a clicking noise. PLEASE HELP !!!
