Car Alarms: remote start/2001 chrysler sebring, sebring convertable, chrysler sebring

Question
i have a 2001 chrysler sebring convertable with a remote start (avital 4113 lx) and a multi platform door lock/bypass module part#ads-al ca  i dont have the box for bypass module and dont no name of unit/company name.   i purchased the car with the remote installed. professionally installed may i add.   my question is
when i remote start the car the horn honks 1 time and the car will start normally and all is well   right   wrong.  my issue is the horn honk must go. i leave my home at 4am every morning and cant have a horn honk go off. cold weather on way. im a certified auto mechanic and installed several remote starts.  i called the company that installed the unit and was told these cars are tricky  and of coarse they want to install a relay somewhere (horn circuit or alarm disarm circuit or other circuit to get rid of this horn honk issue, and the guy behind phone will not provide the fix over the phone.  this is where i could use ur help.  any help with wiring in a relay/resistors, wire colors, programming. i dont know if relay gets installed on horn circuit or the alarm disarm circuit  thank u for ur help looking forward to hearing from u

Answer
Ok fine. Go to another place, or you get up under
the dash, and do it yourself. Tell them
that the Avital's horn output wire is going to a BLACK/RED
wire in the steering column and you simply want
them to snip/cut it off.

That's all. So then when you go to start or stop it,
no audible sounds at all.

No more horn alert from the use of the remote starter.
You'll be without the sound,
but all else with function nominally.

I hope we solved this for you.

Good luck.
