Pontiac Repair: car wont start, crank shaft, crank sensor

I just replaced my harmonic balance pulley on my 1991 bonneville and now my car won't start...It sounds like it will start but don't turn over all the way, what could i do about this problem?

Did you buy an original equipment balancer or an aftermarket. The crank shaft sensor gets it's signal from the balancer If you either have the incorrect balancer for that year car or you damaged the crank sensor replacing the balncer it will not start or act just like you stated in the question. So that is where I would start looking first and foremost.. I assume that the car ran before this happened and maybe just the pulley broke off the balancer and you replaced it due to a noise issue???
