Car Alarms: Factory alarm wont allow car to start, starter kill, repair the starter

Question
Hi, I had installed an after-market alarm in my 2002 Mazda Protege.  The factory alarm started going off when the remote starter was enabled and would in turn set off the remote starter's alarm (and then I was having 2 alarms going off at once!).  So I disconnected the factory alarm and the car did not start with the car's key.  I was only able to start with the remote starter remote.

I have since removed the after-market alarm and reconnected the factory alarm, but now the car still will not start with the car's key. HELP PLEASE!

FIX STARTER KILL
Sounds like you missed the starter kill.

(Oh, btw, according to the notes on this car, it
was not equipped with a factory (OEM) ALARM.
It may have been put in at the dealership in 2002 when
first sold, but it's likely to be after market.)

That being said, the only thing that would not
allow the car to start again is a missed relay
installed on the starter wire (s).

Locate the BLACK/BLUE wire in the ignition
harness and see the attache pic to repair the starter kill.

Then if not starting, there's a deeper issue.

Good luck.
