Car Alarms: alarm keeps going off because of impact sensitivity setting, ultrastart alarm, shock sensor

Question
My daughter had a Ultrastart  alarm on her 1997 Honda Civic. It went bad and she had a new one installed. At first it went off several times a week, after adjusting sensitivity it worked for about a year, now it's back to going off for no reason. I have had it looked at by the installers and they say everything looks good. Is there something I can do to stop this?

Answer
Yeah, not the best design on these. Some (yours)
probably have the shock sensor built into the brain box.
A white stem/wheel to turn it up and down.

Best bet it to turn it off, (counter clockwise all the way)
and just depend on the door triggers to set it off.

It's either that or, replace it again.

I hope this helps.
