Car Alarms: 1995 Ford Mustang alarm, alarmtek, ford mustang

Question
QUESTION: I have a 95 Ford Mustang with an alarm.  I can't figure out the sequence to arm and disarm the alarm and as a result I am contantly setting off the alarm.

ANSWER: Please be more descriptive if possible.

"GOING OFF?"

I need to determine whether it's a factory alarm
issue or, if it's an aftermarket system you are
dealing with.

Is it: Headlights flashing, car horn honking
and a worded SECURITY" light in the dash flashing?
(doubtfull since none of the notes show this
car as having a factory alarm system)=FACTORY

Or,

is it: flashing parking lights,
an LED in the dash area, and a siren
going off?= AFTER MARKET

Let me know more on this to better
advise you on a course of action
to take.

QUESTION: Thank you for your response.  Based on your description it is the later:
flashing parking lights,
an LED in the dash area, and a siren
going off?= AFTER MARKET

Answer
Hmmmm,
ok, it's a siren and flashing lights,
so it's an after market.

Ok, here's what I know...

Normally, putting the key in the drivers side door lock,
turning to the left, then to the right all the way
will unlock and disarm/reset the "OEM factory"
alarm system.

If it's after market, try the following:

PUT IGNITION KEY IN IGNITION,
KEY ON TO JUST BEFORE CRANKING THE ENGINE.
PRESS IN AND HOLD VALET SWITCH FOUND UNDER THE DASH
AREA UNTIL YOU GET A RESPONCE FROM THE ALARM.

KEY OFF.

This should toggle the alarm in and out of
valet/override.

If toggle type switch.
KEY ON, FLIP SWITCH, KEY OFF,
START THE CAR.
