Car Alarms: PLEASE HELP ME; 1996 Honda Civic Lx, alarmtek, honda civic

Question
I have a 1996 Honda Civic Lx I bought from somebody in October which has a car alarm on it. The car alarm stopped working like a month after purchasing it. The remote had two buttons (I)and (II. I do not know what company made the alarm, but I had called them one time (no longer have the number) and they could not help because I had no model number. In may my pocketbook was stolen out of my car and the remote was inside. Now the car will not turn over through the key in the ignition switch, but with a wire that I have to connect to the battery under the hood. I had someone look at it and they disconnected the horn so you will not hear it blaring. The alarm is going off constantly because it had broke down and the person who tried to fix it clean the battery post and magically "the alarm works now." It had a drained a battery, but now I have a battery disconnect on it. I was told that I need the electrical ignition switch, but that will not help the alarm going off, and I believe that if I can turn the alarm off I can start the car normally. Please help me!The alarm ticks the whole time you are driving and it is really getting annoying, and the dealerships are even acting clueless.
