Car Alarms: Car immobilizer, pontiac sunfire, car immobilizer

Question
I recently obtained a 97 Pontiac Sunfire that has a anti theft device. There is a port secured beneath the dash on the driver side where a "key" is inserted in order for the car to start. It is not a normal key. You need a real key with this key. I  believe it is a silencer. Well I lost the key and now can not start the car. Is it possible to replace the key?

Answer
No doubtful you can replace the keys as they are made in series
and they do not make replacements that can be programmed.
It should just be removed and the wiring repaired.

So to tackle this issue,
I have designed a web site with
this very situation in mind.

Since providing this kind of data
online and openly for all to read
is not a good idea, and can lead to misuse,
I have designed a website that offers
disarm, disable or, removal data direct
to the owner of the vehicle by email.

That way I have a trail in case the
information is found to be used in
an attempted theft.

We can do that for you too.
Go to www.REMOVESECURITY.com
to aquire information on removing
your alarm system.

Good luck with it.
