Car Alarms: alarm help, honda accord ex, flip switch

Question
Hi, I brought a 1993 honda accord ex. For the longest I thought my starter had gone out, and that may still be the case except for the fact every time I undo my batter terminals the car turns on. I found that I had an after market alarm system on the car and it is a toggle switch. I do not know what system it is if that even matters just need to know how to turn it off. Can you help?

Answer
Make sure you do the procedure correctly.
Might have missed a step:

PUT IGNITION KEY IN IGNITION,
KEY ON TO JUST BEFORE CRANKING THE ENGINE.
PRESS IN AND HOLD VALET SWITCH
UNTIL YOU GET A RESPONCE
FROM THE ALARM.

KEY OFF.

This should toggle the alarm in and out of
valet/override.

If toggle type switch.
KEY ON, FLIP SWITCH, KEY OFF,
START THE CAR.

I hope this solved it for you.
If not. look forward to removal/replacement
or repair.
