Car Alarms: Code Alarm CA 5051 question, site search engine, 2007 elantra

I had the dealer install this in my 2007 Elantra Limited. It was working fine, although it doesn't seem to be hooked up to the horn. Sometimes, about once in ten tries, the doors won't unlock after using the remote to lock. It seems to be clicking the relays, but the doors need a key to unlock. Could it not be getting a strong enough unlock signal? Thanks.
