Toyota 1994 Camry XLE Keyless Entry

I have a question ..............I just bought a 94 Camry XLE for my daughter. It came with 3 regular keys and has power doors and locks. It also had a manual for a TVSS security system and shows a picture of a remote.  I am wondering if the remotes were just lost and how I can check to see if this system is on the car. I don't see any flashing light to indicate any type of system, etc.... but was hoping I just might need to by this remote and program it. Any ideas on how I could check? I wanted to get the keyless remote for a safety feature for my daughter. Thanks much for any help you could provide.
