Car Alarms: AVS car alarm and Immobiliser, truck battery, auto responder

my truck battery went flat with no sound from the alarm which is supposed to siren of when going flat, so I replaced the battery in the truck and now the alarm and mobiliser will not work and I cannot start my truck. the battery is connected as the lights come on and I have left it connected for a day to charge the alarm but no good. how do i fix this or disable the alarm so i can use the truck.
