Car Alarms: Panic alarm going off while driving..., loose ground, doorlocks

Question
My '02 Stratus R/T, was fine till the other day. I went to drive to work, and the alarm sounded for a second or two, and the doors unlocked while I was still motoring down the road. No lights flashing or anything just the doorlocks and the audible alarm. Then after approx. 30 or so seconds the doors locked again. It seems to get worse if the road is rough. But it happens while I'm parked drinking a cup of coffee, too.

It is a factory anti-theft system. Complete with the big Mitsubishi sticker right on the side of it. I hope you can solve my unsolved mystery.

Answer
But not an unsolvable mystery however.
It's probably a loose ground or, cold solder joint on
the mother board got dislodged.
It's fritzing out when jostled/vibration
affected ("factory" alarms only detect battery drain.
NOT impact) That being the "tell" here for me.

This denotes a misconnection to me.
Maybe a bad crimp, or ground spot.

Check that out.

It could also just be going bad & needs to be swapped out
if the wires all are fine. The trouble would
be on the mother board. Swap this and all should
be ok. Try a local junk yard or used parts online store
for this.

Good luck.
