Car Alarms: Valet remote starter 473t stopped working, valet remote starter, toyota highlander

Question
QUESTION: Had this Valet 473t remote installed on 2002 Toyota Highlander about 4 years ago at Best Buy (free install with purchase). Worked fine.
But now will only sound like it is trying to start. Does this three times and then stops. (But the lights stay on)
All other functions work (doors /trunk) Battery in car is good, battery in remote is good. Have not had recent work done on car. Is there a fuse or wiring I could check (and where are they?) Or does it need to be reprogrammed? (and how?)  Thanks

QUESTION: Not really an answer. Just redirected me to a different site.

Answer
No it's not. I am legally obligated by aggreement
to decline this DEI equipment support request.

If you go back to www.carprotector.com
you will see I don't supply support
to their end users. It's clearly displayed.

So it's no news to anyone that I did not
provide it directly to you.

Sorry, we do not service, sell or support
DEI car alarms, keyless entry or remote starter
systems here at ALARMTEK, and as such do not provide
any technical advice for it either.

VALET is 1 such DEI product.

However, to get some assistance for your issue with
faulty or malfunctioning DEI equipment, please
go to www.INSTALLSUPPORT.com to see if you
can get some help there, or contact a local DEI dealer
for the support that comes with the system you own.

So sorry you did not get what you wanted here.
So why not try where I sent you. I own that
site too.
