Car Alarms: ALLSTART remote starter, mazda protege 5, 2003 mazda protege 5

Question
I have a 2003 mazda protege 5. When I purchased the car, it had an
aftermarket alarm/remote starter installed. I have no idea what brand or
company, all I know is that the remote says "AllStart".
After changing the battery in my car, it will no longer start, lock doors, turn
on lights, etc.
Please tell me how to get this piece of ____ off my vehicle so that I may drive
again!
