Car Alarms: Activating the car alarm while the keyless entry is used to unlock car, locking doors, car question

Question
QUESTION: My car alarm model is the PS-3175 Polarstart.  My truck is a 2006 F150.
I was wondering if it was possible to set the unit to go off when the keypad was activated to unlock the doors?  If so, how do I do this?

ANSWER: Let me understand you here.
You want the alarm to arm when you lock the doors,
and disarm when unlocked?

The door triggers need to be done correctly for that to happen.

Or was it something else you were asking.
Not clear.

QUESTION: Thanks for the quick reply.  Here is what I am looking for:
Arm the alarm with the keyfob by locking doors.
should anyone try to unlock the doors with the numeric keypad and be successful in unlocking, I would like the alarm to go off.  I had my truck broken into and the theives copied the manufacture code for my keypad and have unlimited access to the vehicle through the keypad.

Hope this clears things up.

Let me know.

Answer
Ok, if the after market alarm is on the correct door
trigger, then the alarm would go off when the doors
were unlocked WITHOUT the key fob turning
off the after market alarm. The door locks
would be independent of the alarm's current sensing
capability, but not when the dome light came on
once the door opened.

So yes, if installed right, the OEM push button unlock system
on the door would trigger the PROSTART to sound, flash
lights. etc...

Thing is though, it should have already been installed if
the system you have is also an alarm. If it was not,
take it back and tell the tech to attache the
door triggers to make it so.
