Car Alarms: silencer alarm

Question
I have a 99 chevy Malibu with silencer alarm system. Recently I have encountered problems starting the car. I disable the alarm with the remote and attempt to start my car the starter turns over but the car will not start and the theft system light will start blinking when the theft system light stops blinking It will usually start seems like the car is not receiving the fuel to start. I would like to have this system removed so I won't have to deal with this aggravation. will removing this system cause more problems?

Answer
Ms. Lori,
Please visit my site at www.GMPASSLOCK.com
and read it. I believe you will find that your
inquiry is FAR from unusual. In fact, yours and the Impala
are the number 1 requested Bypass kit I sell. :>(

I don't believe the Silencer is the problem you are
experiencing here. It is likely to be symptomatic and affected
by the crappy GM Passlock sensor system in your ignition.

The fuel rail being dead is a "Tell" for me.

Have a read through, and then if you want to get the parts
needed, let me know at 813 850-5000 or see the PLJX bypass
kit with 2 relays on that page under MOST REQUESTED section.

Good luck with it.
