unknown car alarm fob
Hi- Few months ago I bought a 4Runner 96 that came with an
alarm that also disables engine starter. The fob however,
doesn't look like the original I see in pix of such car
model. There's no brand name on the fob and can't find the
alarm brain under the dash, but there's a black button that
I believe is the valet mode switch. Attached is a pic of the
fob so you could get an idea of the maker. I have already
tried quite a few of the hints that are abundant in the web
but none worked (i.e. turn the ignition to on position, push
valet button under dash for a couple of secs, release and
turn switch of... that kindda stuff). Any help is
appreciated. Thanx
AnswerThe alarm remote is Avital I think.
