Car Alarms: Clifford Car Alarm-Remote Start, clifford car alarm, 2002 hyundai sonata

Question
I have a 2002 Hyundai Sonata that the previous owner had a Clifford Car Remote Start and Alarm installed on it (it is a Clifford OEM Remote 904100). I have now owned the car 3 years. The last 9 months the alarm will go off randomly, from what I can tell sometimes up to 10 times a day. It will go off while I drive it. I don't know what triggers it and there is no pattern.

If I am driving it honks the horn. VERY embarrassing.

If I am not driving, it will lock or unlock the doors (depending on if they were locked or unlocked already), sound the horn and flash the lights.

Needless to say my neighbors hate me and I have been locked out of my car several times as there is no warning to this.

Please help me! Is there a way do disable this Clifford system? I don't even want it anymore.

P.S. I have tried changing the batteries in the remotes thinking maybe them being low was triggering it and it did nothing. My car has been looked at completely and nothing within my car was found to be triggering the problem.
