Car Alarms: Hooking up a switch to the accessories, pontiac grand prix, resident technicians

Question
How would I hook up a switch to the car accessory wire in the ignition harness so that when I flip the switch without the car being on, the accessories turn on? I have a 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix GT. I am a novice so I do not know the wire colors.  Thanks!

best to break it down on the application the
switch is to be used for so the right
amperage can be used.
