Car Alarms: Carbine PLUS-4600 will not disable keeps chirpping, site search engine, magnadyne

Question
I have a Magnadyne PLUS-4600 car alarm installed in my Honda Civic 01.  I replaced the stock head unit with a 3rd party one yesterday and for some strange reason, the alarm started to have problems.  It will not disable itself and I tried to use another remote with new batteries but it won't disarm.

I tried to do the reset for the alarm where you press the button but I couldn't find the button for the alarm.  All I can find is the valet switch but no button to press and hold to reset it.  The LED light shows its blinking constantly, which means the alarm is armed.

Right now, I have to unplug the battery because when I plug it back in, the alarm emits a low chirp sound and keeps doing it.  I can't disable it.  I just unplugged the alarm for the time being, since I don't know what's wrong with it.  I tried to call Magnadyne but their techs are all out sick until Monday.  I was hoping someone can help me here to see what's wrong with it and if I just need to replace the main box?

Please go to my forum at

and in the search bar there,
type in the manufacturer of the alarm.
I believe you will find an older thread on
where to get more on this issue.

If no luck in the site search engine
you can also try asking Robert, the
