Car Alarms: Car Alarm Auto Mate Model AM7, scion tc, alarmtek

Recently bought a used Scion TC with a Auto Mate model: AM7 installed. Everything works as it is supposed to except when I arm the system there are no chirps or sirens. I have the owners guide and it tells me how to silence the system for just the one time. How do you reverse that to get the chirps back on? Of course the dealer had no idea and I don't know who installed the system. Any help would be appreciated.......Pat
