Car Alarms: Door sensor, hornet 564t, google search

Question
I have an 03 mustang gt convert. with a hornet 564T. Everything seems to be working but my car got broken into and my alarm did not sound. When I lock my doors I hear 2 chirps, the led flashes 3 times and my door trigger on my remote flashes. What does this mean and how can I fix this?
