Car Alarms: Proximity Alarm, proximity alarm, peeks

Question
How do I reduce the sensitivity of my proximity alarm?  It goes off when people are 2-3 feet away from my vehicle.  It is supposed to go off if someone peeks in the windows.

Answer
Fish out the sensor from it's current location,
and on it should be a trim pot wheel inset into it.

Ususally turning it counter clock wise will decrease
the sensitivity. Then if I were you, I would re position
the top part of the sensor that detects movement, and
put it where it will only sense what you wnt it to.

Then try to do the procedure again to regulate and set
it the way you like.
