Car Alarms: 1990 Mazda Miata alarm, mazda miata, high pitch

1990 alarm LED next to Shifter will not turn off when car is turned on. The remote will chirp when car is off and turn off alarm noise (small high pitch) Put new batteries and tried different combination of remote disabling.
