Car Alarms: door actuators 1990 chevy p/u, prestige alarm, alarmtek

Question
I was attempting to wire the 5 pin relay from a prestige alarm system to operate the door locks. The tan and grey wires are for the actuators yet there are light lue and black/red at the switch..(two door truck). The mobule sends a positive 12v pulse when armed and disarmed, yet when 12v is applied to either of these wires the actuators start to work, yet acts as if there is a dead short. Is there a factory relay on the truck. The locks work fine without action from the alarm...please help! Thank you...Robert

5 WIRE REV.
It's 5 wire reverse.
POWER LOCK
|light blue |5 wire reverse|driver door harness
POWER UNLOCK
|black/red or black/white|5 wire reverse|driver door harness

To test, clip the blue wire. if both sides stop, that's would
indicate 5 wire set up locks.
If the unlock wire still unlocks the door, they would be positives.

In your case though, definately 5 wire reverse.
