Classic/Antique Car Repair: 1965 Mustang windsheild wipers, wiper switch, wiper motor

When i pulled out the heater box and motor my windsheild wipers stopped working.  I hooked up the motor for the heater and it worked but, the windsheild wipers still would not work. I did ground the motor. I just don't know where to go from here.  Thanks Ron

I seam to remember that the ground wire for the wipers was attached to the same bolt as the heater. It is possible that the wire slipped down out of sight. Now is the time to get a flashlight and a mirror and check back there The other thing to check is to make sure that you did not pinch a wiring harness when putting the heater box back in the car and blow a fuse or trip a breaker. When this happens to me the first thing that I do is to back track. The wires from the wiper motor go back to the wiper switch on the dash.
