Car Alarms: Vision Car Alarm, car alarm system, car alarm installation

Question
I am trying to Disarm or put my vision car alarm system in valet mode so that I may operate.  My keyless entry remote has malfunctioned and have resorted to using my key to get into my car.  I don't know what model it is but it says "2008.12.15 REV:1.0".  Upon opening my door, the alarm system activates and sirens go off.  I'm able to start my car but am afraid to use it because I don't know if it will shutdown automatically or if sirens will blare as I'm driving to work.  I need assistance as soon as it can be given in this matter.  I can't find anything under the dash, I don't know If I'm supposed to remove the undercarriage of the dash in order to find any toggle switch (if there is one), or if I need to open my hood or what.
